One of the advantages of purchasing visitors insurance from USA is that you can cancel the insurance if you no longer require it.
Different insurance companies have different rules regarding cancellation, as described below.
Send an email to the
with the subject
"Cancellation: <Certificate Number>".
In the email message, please mention the certificate number, name(s) of the insured person(s), brief reason why you are cancelling it and the effective date of the cancellation. The earliest that you can set the effective date of cancellation is the next day. It can't be the current date or any previous date.
You will receive an email confirmation once we receive your request. Please allow up to 3 weeks to process the request. Once the request is processed, you will receive another email confirmation. Your refund will be made in exactly the same form that you used to originally pay for the insurance.
